Good Morning Friends!

Today’s list is loaded with so many great books it is hard to know what to recommend, but I will try!

“Long Days of Small Things: Motherhood as a Spiritual Discipline” bt Catherine McNiel. Are you a mom serving ion the trenches? Or do you know someone who is? Here is a rich, soul-inspiring book full of practices for moms who have neither quiet nor time.  God sees . He designed this parenting journey, after all. He understands the chaos of motherhood. And he joins you in everything—whether you’re scrubbing the floor, nursing a fussy newborn, or driving to soccer practice. Catherine McNiel invites you to connect with God right here, in the sacred mundane of every mothering moment.

“I’ve had 8 kids and read a lot of books on motherhood, and this is the one – the “Holy Grail” of Christian mothering books.” (Reviewer)

Pray for the World: A New Prayer Resource from Operation World by Patrick Johnstone. For decades, Operation World has been the world’s leading resource for people who want to impact the nations for Christ through prayer. Its twofold purpose has been to inform for prayer and to mobilize for mission. Now the research team of Operation World offers this abridged version of the 7th edition called Pray for the World as an accessible resource to facilitate prayer for the nations.

“I LOVE this book! I appreciate the way it is organized, first by continent, then alphabetically by country within the continent...The information that is given on each country helped me feel a more personal connection to each people group. I use this book for personal prayers, to set up the prayer list for my church, and I’ve given it to several friends. I highly recommend it if you are serious about systematically praying for the world.” (Reviewer)

“I Can Only Imagine (The Rest of the Story)” by Karen Kingsbury. Throughout this work, we’re all reminded that God is close to the brokenhearted and also that we have just one chance to create a bestseller with our lives by loving well, laughing often, and finding true life in Jesus Christ. This is the first e-short in Karen Kingsbury’s The Rest of the Story series. In it, Karen shares very personal behind-the-scenes anecdotes about herself and her family that appear nowhere else in print, highlighted by her touching relationship with her late brother Dave.

“Karen Kingsbury is one of the most loved Christian authors. Every book or story inspires each one of us in a special way. I Can Only Imagine inspires us to think about our own story.” (Reviewer)

Happy Reading!
